Our Story

Civilized K9 began with our need to find the healthiest, highest quality, food
toppers, treats and training tools that we could utilize for our own furry companions. What we found instead were

highly processed and overproduced items that were often stale, oily, smelled terrible, and would lead to tummy

issues the next day for our four-legged companions. We also found many were often shipped in from places as far
away as Asia, South America, or the US leaving the products close to spoiling by the time we got them to our
animals. When we moved to a small town in central Alberta we saw the opportunity to be able to
supply animal lovers with locally sourced 100% Canadian beef, pork, and lamb products.

Civilized K9 is a small locally-owned maker of hand-cut single-ingredient pet treats and food

toppers located in Innisfail, Alberta. We focus on locally sourced Alberta Beef, Lamb, Bison and Pork so
we can help our communities grow as we showcase the amazing products we have

available to us in our Provinces.
